Whoa! The painter came today and our house is smelling very STRONG. Thank goodness our bedroom was spared so I have a hiding spot until tomorrow. She (the painter) assured me the smell would be gone tomorrow. So, I think the hubs is in the living room, breathing deep and getting a tad bit high :) haha.

Our vacation is three weeks away. I have it nailed down to three locales: Washington DC, Ft. Lauderdale and Puerto Rico. I know those last two are random as hell. Southwest is having a flight sale to Ft. Lauderdale and the hotel rates are super low in Puerto Rico. Plus, I forgot to get my passport renewed when I changed to my married name so any international destination is out. I am going to do a cost analysis of each this week and present options to Jake. I'll let him make the final decision. I think we are both dreaming of a beach vacay with lots of sun, dips in the pool and early bedtimes. Cross your fingers for Puerto Rico.
